Hugh Hewitt has a post about
Charles Krauthammer where Charles discusses Napoleon coronating himself and that perhaps Obama might do the same thing. He mentions in passing that Napoleon had yet to write his autobiography.
We need to ponder how odd it is that someone with so little to recommend himself would think to write one, much less two, autobiographies. Michelle Obama once told us that they were still paying off student loans not too long ago, until he wrote two best-selling books. Would that have sounded the same if she had mentioned that the books were autobiographies. Of course they weren't really best-selling until he started running for president. Why else would anyone want to read the autobiography of a second rate Illinois State Senator? Why would anyone as unfamous as he was ever want to sit down and write an autobiography.
Three things we can be assured of: 1) He only writes about his favorite topic and 2) He basically wants to be president so he can have something to write about in his third book (read autobiography). 3) There will be a third book.
Obama may not coronate himself, but I'm sure he's thinking about taking the oath of office while putting his hand on one of his books. He's having trouble picking which one.
